The Walla Walla County, WA Multiple Use Resource Plan for Federal and State Lands

This is an example plan that contains all of the elements of a plan that should be considered. It represents the consolidation of the original Walla Walla County (WA), Owyhee County (ID), Wallowa County (OR), and Modoc County (CA) plans. It addresses the management of, and regulatory application to, both private property and federal property within the county. Although the plan has not yet been accepted by resolution by the Walla Walla County Commissioners into Ordinance 219, Resource Coordinating Committee Chairman John Cato intents to submit it to the Board once review comments are included. The plan serves as a useful template that any county, city, township or any jurisdiction having an elected board, can adapt for its unique situation. For those communities having no federal land, the portions of this plan that deal with federal land can be ignored.
